The District of Tofino posts job opportunities publicly when they become available. Employment advertisements are posted in the local newspapers and in most cases, several weeks' notice is given for the deadline for submission of applications. The District does not retain applications received outside of a posted job opportunity.

Fall Intake: Each fall the District recruits interested members of the public to fill vacancies on its committees, commissions and other bodies. Applications are reviewed by Council and appointments made in December. Application deadlines apply.
